Trauma Informed Yoga Group

Join us every Monday for eight weeks via Psychology Today and learn to use movement for self-regulation.

In this group, participants will participate in trauma informed yoga movements and other body based regulation skills. This is not your average yoga class. Each group will be facilitated by licensed social worker and trained trauma informed yoga instructor, Nada Plooster. Nada will lead group members through manageable forms achievable in a chair or on a mat. Each meeting will focus on increasing our awareness and connection of mind and body, resulting in a better ability to understand and monitor our emotional reactions. This is not a trauma processing group and you are not expected to have yoga experience.
